Turkish Airlines’ statement said: “The crew discovered that a female passenger named Nafi Diaby was 28 weeks pregnant and showed signs of going into labor. They quickly supported this woman to give birth on the flight.”
Most airlines allow pregnant women to fly before the fetus is 36 weeks old, but must have a doctor’s note stating the expected date of birth at 28 weeks.
